HORIBA Jobin Yvon IBH Ltd is the longest established fluorescence lifetime company, formed in 1977 as a Strathclyde University spin-out and acquired in 2003 by HORIBA Scientific. From within the HORIBA Group, which globally employs 5,500 employees with a turnover approaching 1bn Euro, IBH has continued to develop its core competencies in time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) and time-resolved fluorescence, the success of which has contributed to HORIBA Scientific becoming in 2010 the largest supplier of time-resolved fluorescence instruments worldwide.
